CRM Notifications That Tell the Right Person at the Right Time

New lead, new owner, a reminder due, an event about to start: AliveCRM alerts the people who need to act, on the web, on their phone and by email.

The short answer

What notifications does AliveCRM send?

AliveCRM sends in-app notifications to a bell in the web app, push notifications through the Android app, and emails for key moments such as a new lead arriving or an event starting soon. Alerts cover new leads, assignments, due reminders and calendar invites, and each user can choose which push alerts they receive.

The point of a notification is speed. A lead that waits overnight for someone to open the CRM is a lead that may already have called a competitor.

What happens without alerts

  • New enquiries sit unread until somebody checks the list.
  • A rep does not know a lead was assigned to them.
  • A promised callback is forgotten after a busy morning.
  • Colleagues miss a meeting that was moved.

In-App

One Bell for Everything

Every user has a notification bell in the web app. New leads, assignments, due reminders and calendar invitations all land there, with a full list page for anything you missed. Mark items as read or clear them once handled, so the bell only shows what still needs attention.

Push

Push Alerts on Your Phone

Install the AliveCRM Android app and alerts reach you as push notifications even when the app is closed. Eleven event types can be switched on or off one by one, with separate switches for push and in-app, and quiet hours stop alerts arriving overnight. These preferences are set from inside the mobile app.

Email

Email Where It Matters

When a web form captures a new lead, company admins receive an email with the details, and the person who filled in the form receives an automatic thank-you email. Calendar events send email reminders to the organiser and guests before they start. Account emails such as sign-in codes and password changes arrive the same way.

SMS Alerts for Your Team

On selected paid plans, AliveCRM can also send SMS alerts to team members for new leads and due reminders, which helps people who are away from data or not watching the app. These messages go to your own users only; AliveCRM does not send SMS to your leads or customers.

Who It Is For

Who Relies on Notifications

Fast-response sales teams

Reps hear about a new lead the moment it is assigned, so the first call happens while the enquirer is still interested.

Field staff

Push alerts on Android reach people between visits, without asking them to keep a browser tab open all day.

Business owners

New-lead emails let an owner keep an eye on demand without logging in, while the team handles the follow-up.

Anyone who values evenings

Quiet hours and per-event switches keep alerts useful, so people stay responsive in work hours without constant noise.

Honest limits

What Notifications Do Not Do

Notifications are for your team; AliveCRM does not run email campaigns, SMS broadcasts or WhatsApp messages to customers. Follow-up reminders arrive in-app, by push and, where included, by SMS, but not by email. Push alerts need the Android app today; an iOS app is coming soon. Notification preferences are managed in the mobile app rather than on the web.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How will I know when a new lead arrives?

When a web form captures a lead, AliveCRM adds an in-app notification for the relevant users and emails the company admins with the details. If the lead is assigned automatically, the new owner is notified too. With the Android app installed, these alerts also arrive as push notifications.

Can I choose which notifications I receive?

Yes, in the AliveCRM mobile app. There are switches for eleven event types, with push and in-app controlled separately, plus quiet hours so alerts do not arrive at night. That lets each person keep the alerts that help them act and silence the rest.

Do follow-up reminders send an email?

No. Follow-up reminders on leads arrive as in-app notifications and push alerts, and as SMS on plans that include SMS alerts. Email reminders are sent for calendar events. That keeps lead reminders where reps already work, in the CRM and on their phone.

Does the person who filled in my form get a confirmation?

Yes. When someone submits an AliveCRM form, they receive an automatic thank-you email, and they see your thank-you message or are redirected to the page you chose. This confirms the enquiry was received while your team is alerted to follow up.

Can AliveCRM send SMS to my customers?

No. SMS alerts in AliveCRM go to your own team members, for example when a new lead arrives or a reminder is due, and they are available on selected paid plans. To contact customers, use the tap-to-call or WhatsApp buttons on each lead record.
